Melanie honoured by her village in Kenya

Melanie Peyian, the RCWE sponsored student, was recently honoured by her village in Kenya. Melanie is the first person in Kimuka to graduate from university and become a doctor. Melanie expressed her gratitude to RCWE for making this possible and is determined to help her village in the future.

Edward Boxall, CEO of Sensorem talked to our club about his company's work with drone sensing technology. This video demonstrates one of his projects which was the drone surveillance of a Telstra Tower in Esperence, WA.

RCWE presentation for 14 February, 2023

John Boxall will make a presentation on the RCWE sponsored Maasai Education project in Kenya on the morning of 14 February, 2023. To be held at the Showgrounds Mens Shed starting at 7.15am, the presentation will include a description of program’s education program, capital works done at Kimuka school and success of sponsored students. The photograph below is of a roofed area in the grounds of the Kimuka school installed with funding raised through a Rotary Australia World Community Service project managed by the Rotary Club of Western Endeavour.
