Jane circulated the electronic version of the flyer for Splash to all members last week. Please send it on to anyone you think may be interested in attending...and also those who may not be interested in attending as they may know someone who is. Use the power of email, send to as many people as you can and ask them to forward it to anyone they know. We will have hard copy flyers and invitations available in the next week or so. The flyer is also saved in the Fundraising folder on the members' documents section of the website.

The committee wants to see at least 200 people at the event this year so we need to use our resources to spread the word.

Remember, if you know of any women's groups, social clubs, sporting clubs or the like, let one of the committee members have a contact name and address so we can forward some complimentary tickets. If we get people in the door, they are sure to buy something.

Tickets will be available at the door however we are hoping to pre-sell as many as we can. This will help with catering and logistics on the day.

Chokeby Road has indicated their interest in joining us to sell their wares. They make their own truffles and also sell Lindt chocolate and Moorish nuts so as well as offering beautiful pearls, bags and hats, we will have some delicious food stuffs.

For those of you who haven't visited the National Trust headquarters, I have included a photo of the Ian Metcalfe room, one of the rooms we will be using on the day. We are fortunate to have a reciprocal relationship with the National Trust where we can use this lovely, historic building in return for assisting them to maintain the grounds. The attractive surroundings are a beautiful backdrop for our event.
